MARK THOMPSON, PT, LAc

Mark Thompson is an expert veteran of the health care field with over ten years experience as an acupuncturist and nearly twenty-five years as a physical therapist.

Mark brings his expertise in sports medicine and osteopathic physical therapy to bear on his practice of acupuncture. His advanced, post-graduate training at Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine and numerous other studies have perfected his ability to provide hands-on health care to his patients.

Mark's practice of East Asian Medicine also incorporates the use of Chinese Herbs in promoting health. Mark has extensive training in both Chinese and Japanese/Kampo approaches to herbology. In addition, Mark has developed a specialty in the treatment of women's health and gynecology with advanced studies in China at the YueYang Hospital in Shanghai.

In addition to his private practice, Mark has served on the clinical and didactic faculty at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York and the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in New Jersey.

Mark is a New York State licensed acupuncturist and physical therapist, and nationally board certified in acupuncture, Chinese herbology, and physical therapy.



NANCY PARK, LAc

Nancy Park integrates acupuncture, tui na, and reiki into her practice of East Asian medicine. She comes from a family of acupuncturists who have training and practices in both Eastern and Western medicine.

Nancy began her life in New York in high finance, earning a BA in Economics from Columbia College. After several years in a consultancy and on a trading desk, she was called to health care and was reborn as an East Asian medical practitioner.

In addition to her practice at Mark Thompson Acupuncture, Nancy is active in the East Asian medical community as chair of the Advisory Board for Institutional Development at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture, where she serves as a faculty intern on its clinical teaching staff educating future acupuncturists.

Nancy earned her Masters degree at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York and is currently studying herbology at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Nancy also has special training in non-invasive pediatric techniques and enjoys working with children. Nancy is a New York State licensed and nationally board certified acupuncturist and a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York.

Nancy has trained in Reiki with John Harvey Gray, Lourdes Gray, and Lynn Margileth. She also incorporates Zheng Gu Tui Na into her practice.
